Duncan, a 49 year old businessman had felt lower back pain on and off over the past 5 years, not unbearably so, but enough to cause discomfort in the mornings and after sitting long - for example after car driving. After lifting some heavy garden statues he experienced some severe low back pain which was also felt in his right thigh. On the first visit Duncan was given a thorough examination including X-rays. Before leaving the clinic Duncan had been explained what the X-rays showed, what treatment would be necessary and also received his first 'adjustment' of his low back. The first three weeks Duncan had three visits per week. As his low back function improved the space between visits was increased so that now he only needs a visit every three months to maintain the good results. He no longer has low back or leg pain.
